The Swedish Fortification Agency is looking for a Security Coordinator for the Security Department's staff. Do you want to work with qualified security issues in an operation that plays a central role in the development of Sweden's total defense? We offer an exciting and socially important position where you will have a key role in producing threat assessments, analyzing the security situation, and creating decision support materials that strengthen the agency's security capability. Your workplace - an agency that is developing and growing

The Swedish Fortification Agency is in a strong expansion phase with large investment volumes to continue developing and building properties and facilities within the total defense. The Security Department is responsible for the agency's security protection and works with security protection analysis, physical security, information security, personnel security, incident management, security protection agreements, and signal security. The department currently consists of approximately 80 employees.

To strengthen the work with analysis, situation monitoring, and decision support, we are now looking for a Security Coordinator with a special focus on producing threat assessments and security situation pictures.

In this role, you are responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing information from various sources to produce threat assessments, security assessments, and consolidated security situation pictures. The work aims to provide the Security Department and the agency's management with current and relevant decision support regarding the security situation, as well as the threats and risks that may affect operations. You will have a central role in identifying trends, assessing developments within the security area, and converting complex information into clear and useful materials. Travel is part of the role and can be planned.

In addition to the analytical work, the role involves following up on and coordinating ongoing security cases and conducting investigative measures, particularly related to the headquarters. You will provide support in cases concerning operational security during visits and events, and participate in personal protection cases by conducting threat and risk assessments. The role also involves coordinating cases and investigations within the security staff and producing and quality-assuring security materials for the staff's operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in the security field or other education that the employer considers relevant. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through professional experience. You have good knowledge of security protection legislation and associated regulations, as well as several years of current experience in independent work within the security protection field. To succeed in the role, you need experience with security protection planning, security reporting, and incident management.

You have experience working with the analysis and processing of information for the production of threat assessments, security assessments, and security situation pictures. The work has given you good analytical skills and the habit of converting complex information into clear and relevant decision support materials.

You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish and have a good ability to adapt your communication to the recipient and situation. A B-class driver's license is required.

Experience in intelligence work is particularly meritorious, as is experience of cooperation with other agencies and external actors.

The position is a permanent employment, probationary employment may apply. Location: Eskilstuna. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security screening with register control will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
