We are currently looking for licensed midwives for the Midwife Clinic in Hörby, one position for a permanent full-time employment and one for a fixed-term full-time vacancy.
In accordance with Hälsovalets mission, we treat normal pregnancies and offer parental support, ultrasound services, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, and cervical screening. Here we work according to the tender specifications for accredited Midwife Clinics within Region Skåne. We are at the forefront regarding digital development and offer health conversations, contraceptive counseling, and menopause counseling as video visits.
The Midwife Clinic in Hörby is in the early stages of becoming part of a Family Centre, where we will focus on good collaboration with all involved care providers regarding the expectant family. As a midwife here, you will meet a broad spectrum of patients, including differences in age, background, education, and experience. Midwifery care, child health care, and social workers are already working here.

Job Responsibilities
In the role of midwife with us, you have an independent and stimulating job, where through your approach and competence you can make a big difference for the individual. We offer you an introduction adapted to your experience so that you can get into the operations in a good way.
The midwife position involves, among other things, pregnancy monitoring according to Region Skåne's base program, contraceptive counseling, lifestyle counseling, gynecological cervical screening, minor gynecology, STI testing, and HPV vaccination.
You will work in completely newly renovated premises at the new Family Centre in Hörby, a long-awaited initiative that is finally opening at the end of August. Here you will become part of a close and cross-professional collaboration together with child health care nurses, family counselors, preschool educators, and doctors, with the family in focus and the opportunity to together create a secure and accessible operation for our residents.
Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday. Service at other clinics in the area may occur if there is a need. Partial remote work can be offered, after agreement and if the operation allows. One day a week another midwife is on site.
Qualifications
We welcome you who are a licensed midwife with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We use IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for the personal meeting. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are accustomed to working in different operation systems. It is also meritorious if you have work experience as a midwife, preferably from maternal health care, delivery and perinatal department and/or maternity ward. Additionally, it is an advantage if you have menopause education, 7.5 hp.
