The Rehabilitation Clinic in Ystad serves all inpatient wards at the Hospital in Ystad. The area of responsibility also includes rehabilitation within specialized outpatient care and specialized day rehabilitation at the hospital. The unit consists of approximately 40 employees with various professions, such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, care assistants, medical secretaries, nurse assistants, and nurses. Teamwork is a foundation for all our work, regardless of which ward we work on.

Within the profession, we meet regularly to plan operations and share our different specialist areas with each other, which gives you the opportunity to develop further. DUTIES

We look forward to welcoming you as a physiotherapist and colleague to our team on the heart ward and heart clinic. Here you will meet patients with different types of heart disease, such as heart attack, heart failure, and disturbances in heart rhythm.

The work on the ward includes, among other things, assessment of physical capacity, information about physical activity and exercise, information before and after surgery. Respiratory care, complex mobilizations, transfer assessments, and other physiotherapeutic measures are also common. You are part of the ward team together with a physiotherapist colleague and other ward staff.

At the clinic, you are responsible, together with a colleague, for assessing physical capacity according to SEPHIA as well as for training and evaluation. You are also part of the heart team together with a nurse, social worker, and dietitian.

Your physical workplace is in the rehabilitation unit's staff group where you, together with colleagues, have joint planning and development.

Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, and include some weekend duty. We are a small hospital, which means that as a physiotherapist you also need some competence in other areas. Therefore, you will also receive introduction to other wards. Supervision of physiotherapy students is also included in the position. Your employment begins with an individually adapted introduction and a plan for continued competence development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We would like you to have basic computer skills and experience and knowledge in the medical record system Melior.

To thrive in the role, you need to have good initiative and be able to independently assess, plan, and evaluate your work efforts. The job requires that you have a professional attitude, a good ability to prioritize and organize work, and make quick decisions.
