Malmö Specialisttandvård is now looking for a dental nurse for a growing specialist clinic within pediatric dentistry, orofacial medicine, and general anesthesia dentistry. Here you will work closely with dentists/specialists, dental nurses, and anesthesia teams in a practice with a strong focus on security, quality, and teamwork.

About the employer
Malmö Specialisttandvård is a specialist clinic centrally located in Malmö with activities within pediatric dentistry, orofacial medicine, and general anesthesia dentistry. The clinic primarily works with child patients, patients with dental anxiety, and patients with medical and special needs.
The team currently consists of 4 dentists/specialists, 4 dental nurses, and 1 receptionist. The clinic operates in modern premises and uses the medical record systems Muntra and Tandvårdsfönstret.
About the role
The role combines clinical and administrative work within pediatric dentistry.
The work includes among other things:
- Assisting in treatments within pediatric dentistry
- Working with patients under nitrous oxide and midazolam
- Own patients for induction, prophylaxis, and patient preparation as well as sterile work
- Handling referrals and administrative management in Tandvårdsfönstret
- Booking and coordinating patients in the time book
- Medical record writing and ongoing administration
Mondays and Tuesdays are mainly anesthesia days with close cooperation between dental nurses, dentists/specialists, and anesthesia teams. Wednesday to Friday, the work consists mainly of first visits, treatment of awake patients, as well as assisting and administrative work.
The position involves working with patients who often have dental anxiety, medical complexity, or special care needs, which places demands on security, structure, and professional handling.
We are looking for you who
- Have education and a degree as a dental nurse
- Can speak and write Swedish fluently
- Have at least 5 years of clinical experience as a dental nurse in Sweden
- Have nitrous oxide training and competence or experience with induction and treatment with nitrous oxide/midazolam/sedation
- Have very good communication skills and can express yourself professionally even in complex situations
- Are comfortable working in digital systems and handling administrative tasks

- Experience of working within pediatric dentistry, preferably at a specialist clinic
- Experience with patients with special needs or dental anxiety
- Experience of working with high patient flow and close teamwork
- Experience of administrative tasks and referral handling
- Experience of working in the medical record system Muntra
- Experience of working with medically fragile patients

What the clinic offers
The clinic offers a permanent full-time employment with a fixed salary and collective agreement via Vårdföretagarna. The salary range is 28,000–33,000 SEK/month depending on experience.
You are offered structured onboarding as well as opportunities for internal and external competence development within, among other things, nitrous oxide, specialist dentistry, acute situations, and CPR. There is also the opportunity to develop within pediatric dentistry and the possibility to become a specialist dental nurse.
The clinic offers a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK/year for full-time employment as well as the possibility of a commuter pass.
