Are you a Radiographer with postgraduate education in Radiotherapy, looking to combine professional development with new experiences?

On behalf of a modern clinic in Iceland, we are currently seeking Radiotherapists for a six-month assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with advanced cancer treatment in an international environment in Iceland, while experiencing the country's unique nature and rich culture.

You will become part of an experienced and multidisciplinary team with high competence and close collaboration between different professional groups. This role is ideal for you if you wish to develop professionally, enjoy varied working days, and work closely with patients throughout the entire treatment process.

About the Role

As a Radiotherapist, you will play a key role in planning and delivering treatment for cancer patients. The work involves using modern technology and advanced equipment while contributing to safe and high-quality care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering radiotherapy treatments
  • Operating modern linear accelerators and other advanced equipment
  • Ensuring precise treatment with a focus on patient safety and quality
  • Follow-up and support for patients during the treatment period
  • Close collaboration with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare staff
  • Contributing to a good working environment and continuous quality improvement

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a licensed Radiographer
  • Has postgraduate education in Radiotherapy
  • Has an interest in oncology and modern cancer treatment
  • Thrives in patient contact and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Is flexible, responsible, and confident in your professional role
  • Wishes to develop both professionally and personally through working abroad
