The HR Unit & Responsibilities
Welcome to a dedicated HR unit where we work together to drive HR work forward in the best way possible. As an HR Specialist here, you will have an exciting job where you have the opportunity to influence and develop in a smaller government agency. The HR unit consists of an HR Manager and two HR Specialists.
As an HR Specialist here, you work from a broad role where your area of responsibility is labour law, wage formation, and personnel statistics. The role consists of operational and strategic work within your area of responsibility, and you work consultatively to support managers in their work. In your role as HR Specialist, you assist the agency with your knowledge of laws and agreements within the HR field. Within wage formation, you work, among other things, with wage reviews, wage formation, wage statistics, including personnel statistics, and serve as the contact person for the State Service Center, which handles our salaries. Furthermore, you work with other common HR tasks, such as the development of policy documents, participation in collective bargaining, HR administration, and personnel matters. As a small HR unit, we help each other with all HR questions within the unit.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a three-year university degree in personnel/HR/behavioral science and experience of qualified HR work for at least three years. Current experience in providing professional and coaching support to managers within labour law and wages is also a requirement, as is experience of working with personnel and wage statistics with good proficiency in Excel. It is also a requirement that you have good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have experience of qualified HR work within the public sector as well as experience that has given you good knowledge of wage formation.
To thrive in the role, we see that you have an interest and drive to develop within the areas of labour law and wage formation. To succeed in the role, you need to be both collaborative and independent. It is natural for you to find solutions with a goal-oriented focus on common goals, free from hierarchy. Building good relationships is a clear success factor for you, both towards colleagues, union representatives, and external parties. You solve problems through understanding cause and effect in both the short and long term, as you see logic and connections in complex situations. You work in a structured way and have the ability to organize your work well.
