About the Workplace
Are you our new team leader?
Do you want to become part of our team and enable good days for our users?
Kvarnen's Day Activity Centre consists of 13 different work/service-oriented units located at 9 different places across the municipality.
Here, dedicated and experienced employees work together. Our primary focus is to create meaningful activities for our users based on their individual needs, interests, and conditions.
We are 23 employees who engage approximately 130 users, and we work daily to develop our operations according to the target group's needs and wishes.
About the Job
We are looking for a Team Leader for the daily structural work in our 13 different units. As a Team Leader, you are responsible for planning and coordinating the units. The role includes providing support and feedback to employees so they can support and be present for the users, ensuring they receive the intervention they are entitled to.
You will work actively in Kvarnen's management group, consisting of the Unit Manager, Deputy Unit Manager, Team Leaders, and Support Pedagogues, to develop and improve routines, methods, and working approaches.
As a Team Leader, you play a key role in implementing approaches for the target group's participation and driving the development and content of the units forward.
In the role of Team Leader, you collaborate closely with the planning, coordination, and follow-up of all units. The position involves tasks in the operational system, such as scheduling, ordering, and documentation.
The work is during daytime hours, and you are scheduled across the operation's different units. Scheduling is adapted to the units' needs and planned week by week.
About You
We are looking for sensitive and pedagogical Team Leaders with experience in leadership roles within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations. LSS operations serving people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, diagnoses within the autism spectrum, and mental health issues. In your work, you will meet people with different needs and conditions; therefore, you, as we seek, are pedagogical, flexible, and have good knowledge and experience of low-affective handling, assessment tools, and operational systems.
To succeed in the role, you have the desire to collaborate and develop operations based on the user's self-determination and respect for the user's integrity. The role of Team Leader involves independent work, so you must be able to plan and structure your work and prioritize tasks yourself.
You are expected to be able to move between different operations and solve staffing issues using yourself as a resource. A B-driver's license is required. Kvarnen's Day Activity Centre consists of 13 units at 9 different locations in the municipality. You thrive with structured planning but are also ready to solve the day as challenges arise. The work includes documentation, meaning you must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing, and have good knowledge of social documentation.
