Arena Matchning AB is now looking for a career consultant for Rusta och Matcha 2 in Mariestad – Summer Substitute!

We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented person with a strong desire to coach individuals and match them correctly to jobs or education within the framework of the Swedish Public Employment Service's service "Rusta och Matcha 2". As a career consultant, you will carry out various interventions at both individual and group levels, such as mapping resources, handling application documents, giving lectures, arranging internships, and conducting coaching conversations. You have the opportunity to be creative and adapt your work to the individual, making the job both fun and fast-paced. You will also have close contact with employers/companies, so it is an advantage if you have good knowledge of the local labor market.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious about people and motivated by helping others achieve their goals. Are you good at listening, reading between the lines, and understanding what solutions are possible for your participants based on their current situation? The role of career consultant requires a combination of structured and careful administrative work, identifying your participants' opportunities to enter the labor market, and finding suitable internships for them. Main responsibilities:

• Conduct individual meetings to support and help candidates in their unique processes.
• Plan and conduct seminars on how the labor market works and which tools provide effective job searching.
• Create job search plans for participants.
• Continuous processing of employer contacts to create good matches.

To work with the Rusta & Matcha 2 service, you must meet one of the following requirements (attach certificates proving the following requirements in your application):

Alternative 1:

Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).

Work experience: At least two (2) years of full-time work experience. Part-time work may also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.

Alternative 2:

Education: At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with at least a passing grade.

Work experience: At least three (3) years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following professions or tasks:

• Work leadership with personnel responsibility.
• Recruitment.
• Transition work for job seekers.
• Study and career guidance.
• Processing of personnel matters (not solely personnel administration).
• Work with working life and labor market issues.
• Work with social and group psychology.
• Career guidance.

Part-time work may also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.

Meritorious if you have worked with Rusta och Matcha previously.

Scope: 16 hours/week during weeks 27–31
