About Gröna Klustret
Gröna Klustret is a knowledge and development hub for the green industries in the Fyrbodal region. Through collaboration between businesses, academia, the public sector, and innovation actors, we drive projects and initiatives that strengthen competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation within agriculture, food, forestry, and aquaculture.
We function as a meeting place, project owner, and development partner for companies and organizations that wish to contribute to the green transition and increased regional self-sufficiency.
Our areas of operation include, among other things, locally produced food, circular systems, land-based fish farming, and sustainable forestry.
About the role
As a Project Economist here, you will be responsible for the economic administration of projects and support project managers throughout the entire project cycle, from application to completed projects, with a focus on economic and administrative tasks.
You will be part of a creative team of seven employees based at Nuntorp Farm.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Continuous bookkeeping, VAT reporting, and cash flow analysis
- Payroll administration, reporting of employer contributions and taxes
- Requisitioning funds from authorities such as Tillväxtverket (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth), Jordbruksverket (Swedish Board of Agriculture), Västra Götaland Region, and the Fyrbodal Municipal Association
- Advisory support and calculations prior to grant applications
- Project budgeting following approved applications
- Final accounts and monitoring of income and costs within grant-funded projects
- Financial reporting to funders
- Communication with funders and participating partners to ensure compliance with economic and administrative requirements
- Other administrative tasks may also occur
About you
We are looking for someone who can and wants to work independently, structured, quality-conscious, and service-oriented. Additionally, you need to have pedagogical insight and thrive in an environment with many contact points and varied tasks. You:
- Are driven, solution-oriented, and responsible
- Enjoy working in teams and collaborating with different functions
- Are pedagogical and have an easy way of communicating financial information clearly
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in economics
- Experience in project economics or project accounting
- Good ability to communicate finance with other economists and project managers
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Merits
- Experience with Fortnox
- Experience with payroll administration
- Experience supporting management functions with financial matters
- Experience working independently with accounting, final accounts, and reporting for grant-funded projects
Scope
Part-time, 50%. At least one day per week on-site at the office.
