About the job

The Communications and Marketing Department at Linköping University markets our international programs to prospective students around the world. We use various channels such as the web, social media, events, phone, printed material, and personal meetings.

We are now looking for up to 10 students studying on international programs at LiU, from all over the world, to work as student ambassadors on an hourly basis, where the compensation may vary from month to month. The assignments may, in some cases, take place outside office hours, and additional tasks may be added.

The tasks may include one or more of the following:

Social Media Team (regular):

• Create content and manage LiU's Instagram account, approx. 1 week/month
• Create content (video, image, graphics) for YouTube, the web, and newsletters
• Manage our social media accounts in China (native Chinese speaker is a requirement)

Event-based Team (as needed):

• Answer individual questions from interested/applying students
• Coordinate and participate in online fairs
• Produce and edit video
• Write own blog posts and publish others'
• Support marketing activities such as events, webinars, video, or phone campaigns
• Participate in/lead the podcast “Fika with us”
• Coordinate visits from interested and applying students
• Coordinate social activities

About you

We are looking for students studying on international programs at LiU. In your application, indicate which tasks you are primarily interested in. Previous experience working at LiU as a LiU ambassador is meritorious.

For the social media team, we are looking for you who are creative and have the ability to create engaging content for social media. Upon request, you are expected to grant access to @linkoping.university on your personal social media accounts.

For the event team, we are looking for you who have experience in writing, video production, project management, or experience within sales/CRM systems.

For all tasks, you need to have good social skills and be able to take independent responsibility.

About the employment

Hourly employment as needed.

Start date is October 1, 2026.

Salary and benefits

Hourly wage according to the current agreement for student assistants at LiU.
