FSDB Stockholm Gotland is looking for a Communications Officer/Operations Manager for the association's office located on Södermalm in Stockholm, where the membership activities are also conducted.
About the role
As a Communications Officer and Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the association's work to spread knowledge about the concept of deafblindness, how it manifests in practice, and in designing and developing activities for current and prospective members.
The role includes, among other things:
- Managing the association's official channels, including the website, social media platforms, and other digital tools. You will also be responsible for internal cloud services, email domain administration, and the implementation of AI-based tools.
- Responsible for proofreading and publishing press releases, opinion pieces, consultation responses, and digital advocacy efforts.
- Managing activity programs, newsletters, and other internal and external information.
- Creating creative informational materials, designing layouts, and developing new information projects within the interest-based work.
- Serving as the case handler for the Activity Group and collaborating with them to propose program activities within the association.
- Handling procurement, booking, and ordering related to the aforementioned program activities.
You will have an independent role reporting directly to the Office Manager and will collaborate with the board regarding interest-based goals.
Your qualifications
- At least 2 years of higher education in communications.
- At least three years of professional experience in a communicative role.
- A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong integrity.
- Experience in seeking information, being source-critical, structured, and meticulous.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to express yourself clearly in written Swedish.
- Competence in working with various digital systems, such as web publishing tools, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Adobe publishing tools, Google Analytics, AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini), and various layout programs.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge about the disability of deafblindness, sign language, and the ability to communicate verbally via telephone.
Terms and Application
This is a permanent position at 50% with an initial probationary period of 6 months.
The work is performed at the association's office on Gotlandsgatan 46, with the possibility of some remote work as agreed.
Evening and weekend work may occur upon agreement.
The workplace has collective agreements with Unionen and Akademikerförbunden.
Start date: Upon agreement.
