We are now looking for a nurse for our mobile team at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP)!

Description

BUP Affective Clinic Kungälv belongs to the Psychiatry Department at Kungälv Hospital and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Kungälv Hospital has a clinic in Stenungsund and two clinics in Kungälv. In addition to the affective clinic, there is a clinic for patients with neuropsychiatric problems in Kungälv. We are now looking for an employee for the mobile team, which is based at the affective clinic.

The clinic is staffed with senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, and a unit manager. Speech therapists and occupational therapists, who are employed by the neuropsychiatric unit, are also available. The operations are characterized by high competence and a high degree of collaboration, and are conducted from a cross-professional perspective. In addition to various types of conversations, we also conduct group activities. All professional groups receive continuous supervision based on their profession. BUP Affective Clinic has on-call duty during daytime hours.

We launched the mobile team in our unit in project form during autumn 2023, and the team was made permanent in 2025. The mobile team receives patients in our catchment area; Tjörn, Stenungsund, Kungälv, and Ale municipalities, who are already active at one of the three BUP clinics.

Job Responsibilities

Assessments and treatment interventions aimed at children and adolescents with psychiatric problems, who for various reasons have difficulty coming to the clinic or to school, or alternatively in cases where it is seen that an intervention at home would be significant. This may, for example, involve following up subacute patients or making interventions aimed at children and/or parents that can help get the child to school or to the clinic for a booked appointment. The work is carried out on behalf of one of the BUP clinics and in consultation with the unit manager, but is conducted independently. The work involves collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers, schools, and social services.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are interested in working in our mobile team within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. You are a person with drive and commitment who is used to working independently and are not afraid of new challenges. It is meritorious if you have experience of working in psychiatry and if you have worked with children and young people. Previous experience of mobile work is also meritorious. Since the majority of the work will be located outside the clinic, you need to have a Category B driver's license. A company car is provided.
