About the Role

At Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen, we meet children and parents with a holistic perspective – focusing on security, development, and early support in life's first years. You are responsible for monitoring the child's health and development in close collaboration with guardians, offering support and counseling in parenthood.

The work includes, among other things, growth monitoring, developmental assessments, vaccinations, parent groups, and home visits. You collaborate closely with pediatricians, psychologists, child health coordinators, and other colleagues at the health center.

Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen launched in November 2024 at Första Långgatan 16, three flights up in completely newly renovated premises. Our wonderful BVC has since filled up with children, which now creates the opportunity for yet another position at the BVC. Your colleague at the BVC, along with other doctors and nurses, looks forward to welcoming another colleague to the team. As we grow, we define our way of working together. We are pioneers in promoting health, with a health perspective also at the health center: Both doctors and nurses engage with the family. We are looking for you with competence and preferably experience as a BVC nurse.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse
• Have experience in child health services or similar work
• Work confidently and independently in your professional role
• Have good communication skills and an empathetic approach
• Have a genuine interest in children and families
• Want to be part of a team that works with quality and development
