Your Mission

As Assistant Unit Manager, you belong to the Signals Intelligence Division. The division delivers intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients.

Here you step into a central role where you lead daily operations and create the conditions for production that delivers with high quality and precision. By maintaining a good overview of the work and ensuring the quality of the reports, you contribute to ensuring that every delivery follows the production plan and meets the agency's high requirements.

Your role extends beyond operational work. You become the link between the clients' needs and the production's prerequisites, translating needs and priorities into concrete solutions. We are looking for someone who sees opportunities for development, challenges established ways of working, and takes initiatives that strengthen the agency's capabilities, both today and in the long term.

This makes you an important collaboration partner for the Unit Manager. Together, you drive strategic work forward by developing production planning and identifying how the unit's competence can be strengthened to meet future needs. At the same time, you have a coordinating role in daily operations and represent the unit in international collaborations as well as in dialogue with our clients.

The nature of the position involves domestic and international travel.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree in political science or another education that the employer deems equivalent
• Experience working in intelligence operations
• Experience in a leading or coordinating role within a relevant field of activity
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, with the ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written form in both languages

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Work experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, the Government Offices, the Swedish Security Service, or security/intelligence services
• Knowledge of tools and capability-building solutions

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification. Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
