Welcome to the Finance Department. We are responsible for the support and expert knowledge that create the prerequisites for Svenska Kraft Network to fulfill its mission and achieve its goals.

The Finance Department includes functions working with planning, monitoring, coordination, reporting, business development, and support.

About the role

As a Program Controller at Svenska Kraft Network, you are the primary financial support for the program manager and their underlying project organization. Currently, there are a total of nine programs in the infrastructure portfolio.

You work broadly with all issues concerning financial flows for the program(s) you support and follow the projects from initiation to completion/commissioning.

Through your work, you contribute to reliable forecasts for the infrastructure portfolio as a whole, ensuring we always present an accurate picture of our results and can learn from them for the future.

The infrastructure portfolio has grown significantly over the last five years and is undergoing development/growth. This means that working methods, routines, and processes are constantly being improved and developed, and you will be a natural part of this work.

The work consists of the following tasks, among others:

• Support to program managers and project managers regarding financial planning/forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
• Quality assurance of financial decisions.
• Produce analyses and reports based on the needs of the programs.
• Educate the project organization on financial matters.

The challenge in this role is to help find the right level of detail that is sufficient for us in an environment that is challenging and growing.

The Portfolio and Program Unit belongs to the Finance Department. The unit houses all program controllers who provide financial support to all ongoing programs and projects at Svenska Kraft Network.

The position is located at the Portfolio and Program Unit.

The unit, which serves as support for the project operations at Svenska Kraft Network, is growing and currently consists of 18 employees and a unit manager.

Education

University education in economics.

You also have:

• At least three years of experience as a controller in a large and/or complex organization.
• Experience working with major business systems.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Merits

• Experience in controller work in project operations, preferably within infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with Unit4 Business World (UBW).
• Experience in public sector operations.
• Experience with EU-funded projects.
