About the job
You will work with the administration of various types of partnerships within Sida's thematic portfolio for climate and environment. A key part of the role is to conduct strategic and targeted dialogue regarding the unit's priority issues with actors and cooperation partners in international contexts. The work is currently guided by the strategy for sustainable growth, green transition, and education 2025–2029. The position is located within the Climate and Environment Unit (KLIMAT) at the Department for Global Partnerships (GLOBALA).
We are now looking for 1–2 case officers
The office is located in Rissne, Sundbyberg.
Responsibilities
- Administration of partnerships (so-called interventions), which involves assessing and monitoring partners' plans, results, budgets, and capacities to ensure efficient resource use and to achieve agreed goals together with our partners.
- Conduct strategic and targeted dialogue about Sida's priority issues with actors and cooperation partners.
- Overall and strategic portfolio management and portfolio development on a thematic basis, including contributing to strategic planning, monitoring, and reporting on strategy implementation.
- Contribute to the development of the unit's joint work on planning and monitoring activities, as well as developing working methods and routines to ensure quality and results, and perform other common tasks within the unit.
- As an employee of a government agency, you are subject to the Swedish government's values and are expected to follow Sida's rules and routines, including case and document management.

Qualifications
Education
- An academic degree or other education deemed relevant by the employer, e.g., in political science, economics, or environmental/climate/sustainability issues.
Languages
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English.
Professional experience and knowledge
- Several years of relevant experience in development cooperation related to international climate and environmental issues.
- Good experience in administration and case management.
- Good experience in conducting strategic dialogue and driving change with cooperation partners.

Merits
For this role, the following are considered meritorious:
- Experience working in a government agency.
- Experience in development-related cooperation with the private sector.
- Experience working with multilateral funds and organizations (UN, World Bank).
- Experience working with marine issues and/or energy issues.
- Experience working in an international environment and/or in developing countries.
Good to know
The position is a temporary appointment until further notice, but no later than 2027-08-31. Start date: September 2026.
Sida offers the possibility of remote work to some extent if it works for the operations.
