Regimental Staff Management Systems

Under the Management Systems Chief, you will be involved in P 18's internal work related to the unit's needs for IT, telephony, command support systems, procedures regarding these, and procedures concerning information flow within P 18.

Main Responsibilities

The Information Manager (IMO) supports the P 18 Chief of Staff in matters regarding information management, system support, and method development. The position focuses on information management processes. The work involves both maintaining existing processes and developing new ones, constantly taking into account the laws and regulations applicable to the information area.

In addition to the above, the following are main responsibilities:

• Independently lead projects within information management
• Manage contact interfaces within the Swedish Armed Forces
• Be responsible for P 18's information management in command support systems and understand how changes regarding design, site structure, and metadata affect information accessibility
• Be responsible for training staff in information management issues, e.g., user training in current command support systems
• Be responsible for training exercise participants in current information management procedures, both analog and digital
• Participate in the development and maintenance of instructions, procedures, and methods
• Lead the work of developing Gotland Regiment's Information Knowledge Management plan
• Ensure that P 18 follows current directives and regulations regarding information management
• Contribute to the development of the order system regarding information management

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and relevant experience in relevant knowledge areas.
• At least 5 years of work experience.

This requires you to have high integrity and be able to represent the function both within the regiment and in the Swedish Armed Forces. You are meticulous and unpretentious, which also means you are a good team player. You have the ability to express your opinions and are clear and communicative. QUALIFICATIONS

• Current and relevant previous work experience of staff work within the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Current and relevant previous work experience of information management in the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Relevant education in information management, libraries, archives, and/or business development.
• Current and relevant previous work experience with SharePoint.
• High ability to independently drive issues.
