Description

We are now looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach both textile crafts and wood and metal crafts in grades 7–9.

We offer you the opportunity to continue building on our newly established school for grades 7–9, offering both regular and adapted basic education, located in central Hisingen. The classrooms are adapted to the students' needs, and the school has four well-equipped craft workshops, two for each craft subject.

Responsibilities

You are part of one of the school's teaching teams and contribute to developing instruction within your subject group. Together, we strive to create a school day that stimulates students' creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence. All staff at the school work actively to strengthen students' hope for the future and promote good mental health. We aim to give students the insight that they themselves have the power to influence and change, so that they are given the opportunity to live a healthy and meaningful life. Mentoring is included in the position, as well as collaboration with the student health service when needed.

Our development is driven by curiosity. We challenge each other and dare to try new paths to constantly develop and improve our operations. Together, we draw up, follow up on, and revise our plans, as it is a shared responsibility to drive school development and move Lundby School forward. Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach both textile crafts and wood and metal crafts in grades 7–9.
• are well-versed in steering documents and can translate them into learning that is understandable and meaningful for students.

Personal Competencies

As a person, you are pedagogical and have good experience in designing, developing, and adapting your teaching to meet students' specific needs. In your interactions with students, you create a trusting classroom climate where all students can be their true selves. You are also team-oriented and interested in contributing to the development of the operations. In your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues, you see opportunities to develop yourself and your role as a teacher.
