Västerbergsskolan is an F-6 school (preschool to grade 6) with approximately 240 students, located at the foot of Änggårdsbergen, with nature just outside the door. We have a fantastic newly built schoolyard that the students themselves have helped shape together with architects and educators. The school forest gives us endless opportunities for outdoor learning. The school is centrally located, making it easy to reach by public transport. Additionally, there are parking facilities for both cars and bicycles, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

At Västerbergsskolan, we are now looking for an engaged and positive teacher with another specialization for our after-school center who wants to help create something great from the ground up. We moved into a completely new, modern F-6 school in the autumn term of 2025. You will become an important player in our positive work team and will have the opportunity to help shape the new after-school centers together with a fantastic and qualified staff group.

What You Will Do

As a teacher with another specialization in the after-school center, you are responsible for planned activities at the after-school center and also during certain breaks. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical work based on the guidelines we follow.

With your engagement and playful drive, you create an active and meaningful school day for the students, where they have the opportunity to explore and grow both socially and academically. Relationships are built on trust, and you are passionate about contributing to secure relationships and creating an inspiring school day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher or preschool teacher. We would appreciate it if you have experience working in an after-school center.
