Description

Annedalsskolan is now looking for a teacher for the intermediate level (grades 4-6) with broad qualifications. The position is a temporary substitute role lasting for the academic year 2026/2027.

Annedalsskolan is a school for grades F-6 with just over 330 students. The school building dates back to 1883 and has been fully renovated in recent years. The school is located below the steep slope of Guldhedsberget, near Nilssonsberg and Skanstorget, offering easy access to nature, culture, and public transport.

At Annedalsskolan, we work with the PALS school model, which means we systematically focus on recognizing positive behavior and ensuring that adults serve as positive role models.

Responsibilities

We offer an exciting and challenging assignment where you work with the purpose and goal that all students have a meaningful, stimulating, and challenging educational experience based on the National Curriculum. The role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subjects, carried out in collaboration with your teaching colleagues. You will be part of a grade-level team, working together with your colleagues to provide students with the best possible school experience. You will participate in collegial learning, contribute your experiences and reflections, and be open to trying new methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with broad qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. Qualifications in Swedish, Mathematics, and English are required for the position. Additional subject qualifications are meritorious, especially in Natural Sciences (NO). Experience with the PALS model is also considered an advantage.

You have good knowledge of the curriculum and course plans, work with formative assessment, and can interpret and concretize the goals of the curriculum. You believe in every student's ability to succeed and develop in their learning, basing your planning on each student's prerequisites in relation to knowledge goals.

You are a clear leader in the classroom and have a positive basic attitude and a solution-oriented approach. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By showing interest and creating understanding for others, you foster a respectful work climate.
