We are now looking for two specialist physicians for Vårdcentralen Tornet, one of which is combined with the role of Medical Management Responsible Physician (MLA). About 34 engaged employees work at Vårdcentralen Tornet, jointly responsible for approximately 7,600 listed patients. We are a training and development-oriented health center with specialist physicians in general practice, ST-physicians, and AT-physicians. Here we value knowledge exchange, supervision, and collegial learning.

We work in a team-based manner where all patients have a named physician and patients over 75 years belong to a specific team to create continuity and security. We strive for the benchmark of 1,100 listed patients per full-time working physician to create good conditions for quality, working environment, and long-term patient relationships. We are also responsible for a special housing facility (SÄBO) and have home care patients whom we round regularly every week, which gives the opportunity for close and continuous cooperation regarding our most vulnerable patients.

Our operations include several clinics, including asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, and smoking cessation. We also have a family center with a child health center (BVC) as well as access to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counselors. Through our regular team rounds, we work together to give patients the best possible care.

We are now looking for two specialist physicians as two of our colleagues have chosen to move on to new career opportunities. This gives you the opportunity to become part of a stable and well-functioning operation where collaboration, participation, and development are at the center.

Job Description

As a specialist physician with us, you are offered a varied and developing work within the entire field of general practice. The work includes planned and acute patient visits, medical assessments, and continuous follow-up of patients. You work closely with other professions in our cross-professional teams and contribute to good continuity and high quality in care.

As an experienced specialist physician, you also have the opportunity to contribute to supervision and competence development of our AT- and ST-physicians as well as other colleagues in the operation.

We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of some remote work for administrative tasks. We are sensitive to individual wishes regarding schedules and working methods and strive to create a sustainable working environment for our employees.

For the specialist physician who takes on the MLA assignment, it also includes working with medical quality, patient safety, and business development together with the operations manager. You do not need to have previous experience as an MLA. We offer introduction, mentor support, and allocated time for the assignment to give you good conditions to succeed in the role.

Qualifications

You who apply are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general practice and eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement.

It is meritorious if you have experience of working within primary care as well as the journal systems PMO and Melior. For the position that includes the MLA assignment, previous experience of medical management or business development is meritorious, but not a requirement.
