We are looking for a BAS-P and Work Environment Coordinator for a municipality located approximately 35 minutes northwest of Stockholm.

This is a consultancy assignment.

The position is for 50% of a full-time role.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

We are seeking a BAS-P and Work Environment Coordinator to support the client by coordinating, developing, and ensuring the quality of work environment responsibilities in accordance with current legislation. The role involves working both strategically and operationally with work environment issues in construction, civil engineering, investment, and development projects. You will provide support to project managers, client organizations, consultants, and contractors throughout the various stages of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the client's work environment responsibility in construction, civil engineering, investment, and development projects.
• Act as BAS-P and coordinate work environment issues between project managers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide support during project initiation, procurement, and handovers from a work environment perspective.
• Identify, document, and follow up on work environment risks, as well as create and maintain risk registers and action lists.
• Develop, review, and follow up on work environment plans, risk analyses, design documents, and work environment-related routines.
• Participate in design meetings, construction meetings, kick-off meetings, and other coordination meetings as needed.
• Provide ongoing advice to project managers and clients, and support in defining the boundaries between BAS-P, BAS-U, and client responsibilities.
• Report on work environment status, risks, and recommended actions, and contribute to the development of routines and working methods within the project operations.

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• At least 10 years of experience in work environment work within construction and civil engineering projects, and at least 5 years of experience in client support, BAS-P, or a corresponding work environment coordination role. Documented experience from a municipal or other public client organization is required.
• Valid BAS-P certification and documented experience in the role of Construction Work Environment Coordinator for planning and design.
• Documented experience in client support and work environment coordination within construction, civil engineering, development, or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of the Work Environment Act, the Work Environment Ordinance, and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on construction and civil engineering work.
• Ability to work strategically with routines and management, as well as operationally with support in individual projects.
• At least two assignments from the last five years involving similar tasks, such as BAS-P, client support, or overall work environment coordination in municipal/public construction, civil engineering, development, or infrastructure projects.
