About the position

We are looking for a vocational teacher for the Welding education at KompetensCentrum, as well as a welding teacher for the Industrial Programme at Rudbecksgymnasiet in Tidaholm.

The position includes teaching in materials technology, welding technology, welding methods, manufacturing documentation, joining techniques, etc. In addition to teaching, contact with companies and work-based learning are a natural part of the job, as our education programs are apprenticeships. Mentorship and other teaching duties are included in the part of the position based at the upper secondary school.

You and your colleagues create a stimulating study environment together with the students. The students' well-being, sense of security, and desire to learn are largely determined by their relationships with our staff. The Industrial Programme organizes both national and international trips and study visits, made possible through external funding.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified vocational teacher in welding and/or have professional experience as a welder in various fields.

As a person, you are accustomed to working together with others and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with your students. You also place high importance on student participation and influence.

With a positive attitude towards development and change, you are willing to test different solutions with the students in focus.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting 2026-09-08 or according to agreement.
