RESPONSIBILITIES

Björkskolan in Skruv and Lustigkulla School in Kosta are two F-6 schools with a total of approximately 115 students. The schools are characterized by their small scale, high sense of security, and good study environment. The teaching is based on a formative and language- and knowledge-developing approach, and we work closely with the students to create good conditions for learning and development.

As a music teacher in primary school, you are responsible for music teaching in year groups F-6 at two of the municipality's schools. The teaching is planned and conducted in accordance with the curriculum and adapted to the students' age and prerequisites, with a focus on musical development, creativity, collaboration, and the joy of creating.

You create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop their musical abilities through singing, instruments, rhythmics, and music listening. The teaching is characterized by clear leadership and a formative approach that supports the students' learning.

The work involves collaboration with colleagues and work teams at both schools, as well as responsibility for planning, documentation, and assessment of the students' knowledge development.

The position is located at two schools and can be combined with another position within Lessebo Municipality, such as additional teaching, student-oriented work, or other pedagogical activities, depending on qualifications and the needs of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in music for year groups F-6.

If no qualified applicant is found, the employment may be time-limited for an applicant with relevant education, experience, or ongoing education towards teacher certification.
