RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to Vederslöv School! Our F-6 school is beautifully located just 20 minutes from Växjö, surrounded by forests, meadows, and water. The nature-oriented environment, our creative schoolyard, and our dedicated staff make the school an inspiring place for both students and personnel.

Vederslöv School is looking for an engaged, confident, and inspiring teacher who wants to be a mentor in our positive and lively fifth grade. Together with a colleague, you will create a stable and caring foundation for the students' security and development. The position includes teaching in Swedish and social studies subjects, where you will have the opportunity to spark students' interest in language, history, culture, democracy, and general knowledge.

As a teacher with us, you lead the teaching with clarity, care, and structure. You build relationships based on respect, curiosity, and security, and you work purposefully to ensure that every student feels motivated, has peace to study, and a desire to learn. Planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching are done based on the curriculum's goals, and you use digital tools as a natural support in the learning process.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 4-6 and qualified in Swedish and social studies subjects.

You express yourself well in speech and writing and lead teaching in a way that creates clarity, structure, and study peace. You have the ability to adapt teaching to each student's prerequisites and meet students in need of special support with patience, flexibility, and an inclusive approach. You are confident in supporting students in social situations and help them handle conflicts in a constructive and learning way. As a pedagogical leader, you are curious, reflective, and development-oriented. You appreciate collaboration and contribute actively to a positive and solution-focused work culture where the students' best interests are always at the center.

A B-class driver's license and access to a car are required.
