The Language and Competence Center (SKC) is a unit responsible for the reception of newly arrived students, study guidance, and native language instruction within the Education Administration. We teach native languages in primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school in many different languages.
The duties consist of teaching according to our steering documents in the subject of native language, documentation, as well as assessment and grading. The teaching takes place after the student's regular school hours and at various schools within Växjö Municipality.
As a native language teacher, you will become part of a dedicated work team where collegial learning and collaboration are in focus. Together, you will continuously work to develop the teaching to create the best possible conditions for students' knowledge development and goal achievement. The work team also serves as an important support in your pedagogical mission and contributes to an inspiring and developmental work environment.
We are looking for you who are an engaged and qualified native language teacher.
Type of employment: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months.
Start date: 2026-08-10 or as agreed.
End date: 2026-12-18.
