Älmhult Municipality is located in southern Småland, close to good transport links and beautiful natural areas. Älmhult Municipality has thirteen municipal preschools and one open preschool. The ability, experience, desire, and will to play and learn of each child are the starting point for our preschools' activities.

You should be familiar with and work according to our curriculum and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as the "Kronobarn Model" developed by the municipalities of Kronoberg and Region Kronoberg. This is to create a safe and secure upbringing for every child through promotion, early, and coordinated efforts.

Bokhultet consists of three departments: Solen, Kometen, and Stjärnan. The Solen departments are located in the school building, where the older children attend.

At Bokhultet Preschool, children learn through play, social interaction, and by exploring and creating. They also learn by observing, talking, and reflecting. We strive to have challenging and stimulating environments that invite activity. Bokhultet offers the children a fun, safe, and educational day at preschool.

Job Responsibilities

When you work as a preschool teacher with us, you become part of a team that together creates an education that stimulates and challenges the development and learning of all children. We want the children to feel safe and well-being during their time at preschool.

Using the curriculum and other governing documents as a basis, you choose methods, content, and interactions based on each child's knowledge, experience, and specific conditions. You contribute with your knowledge and experience to develop the operations, and of course, yourself. You collaborate to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. As a preschool teacher, you have an extended responsibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified or newly graduated preschool teacher and who feel a strong interest in learning and developing together with the children and our colleagues. Are you engaged and responsible? Great! We need you whose engagement stimulates both the children and us colleagues to learn. Together we are responsible for the operations and drive development towards the goals set for the preschool. You have a clear respect for the individual and an open and trust-inspiring approach so that good and sustainable relationships are created.

Employment Terms

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

Duration: 3-6 months.

A certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Crime Register is required before employment. Please apply for the certificate in advance if you are called for an interview.
