RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher who wants to help develop a preschool where quality, responsibility, and curiosity are at the center. Here, you will be part of an environment where both children and adults are given the opportunity to grow together. Trummen Preschool is located near Lake Trummen, with easy access to both nature and the city center. We view the preschool as a democratic meeting place, meaning the education is designed so that every child has real opportunities for participation, influence, and the ability to impact their daily life.

We work in dialogue with the pedagogical philosophy of Reggio Emilia in relation to Swedish preschool practice. Here, children meet curious and attentive educators who, together with them, create conditions for exploration, learning, and meaning-making.

The preschool consists of four departments, which creates good conditions for collaboration, continuity, and a shared responsibility for all children's education.

Trummen Preschool is part of the VÅRT organization, along with several other preschools in both urban and rural areas. The preschools are run by a principal and three deputy principals, where the deputy principals have operational leadership and the principal has the strategic mission for the entire organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a preschool teacher with us, you work in a team and are responsible for the children's development and learning. You contribute to creating a creative and inspiring environment and actively participate in collegial learning with the support of lead teachers. You help develop the operations and learning environments, both indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher. Education in pedagogical documentation via the Reggio Emilia Institute is meritorious.

You are well acquainted with the pedagogical philosophy of Reggio Emilia and can translate a listening, exploratory, and reflective approach into practice. You use pedagogical documentation as a basis for analyzing and developing education and have experience with a project- and process-oriented approach. You can integrate this into systematic quality work and in relation to the preschool's governing documents.

Furthermore, you possess good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have a positive attitude.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
