Adecco is now looking for a Facilities Assistant for an exciting consultancy assignment at AstraZeneca in Södertälje. This is an opportunity for you who want to work in a dynamic laboratory environment and contribute to operations that make a real difference.

• Scope: Full-time (100%), working hours 08:00–16:50 with flexitime options
• Start date: By August 3rd
• End date: December 23, 2026
• Location: Gärtuna, Södertälje (primarily on-site, with the possibility of remote work on occasional occasions)

This is a consultancy assignment via Adecco, where you work on-site at AstraZeneca.

All candidates who proceed in the process will undergo background checks as well as alcohol and drug testing.

We are looking for a communicative, service-oriented, and driven team player who is passionate about working with practical/physical and administrative tasks to ensure that laboratory operations can meet their deliverables together as a group. As a team member within LabSupport, you are part of a team called Staff, Climate & Support within Quality Control (QC) Maintenance & Support, located in Gärtuna or Snäckviken, Södertälje. You will have close collaboration within the team, with our laboratories, and with our suppliers.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Daily contact with customers and suppliers, primarily within the EU
• Participate in improvement work, painting tasks, and the development of action plans
• Problem-solving and lean work within your area of responsibility
• Order management with suppliers and delivery monitoring in our business system
• Receive and unpack deliveries, inventory stock, and administer this in our electronic systems
• Large-scale preparation of release media for the QC lab. A comprehensive project is underway here to streamline work and improve the working environment
• Gas changes, tubes & gas packages

As a person, you are communicative, service-oriented, solution-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating. You work efficiently, structured, and take initiative when circumstances change. You are a positive team player with a genuine interest in continuous improvements.

• At least upper secondary education
• Experience in order management, warehouse management, and supplier contacts
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Comfortable working with the MS Office suite and experience with SAP is desirable
• Meritorious with several years of professional experience from manufacturing companies, storage, or warehouses
• Meritorious if you have experience with SHE (safety, health, and environment), LEAN, GMP (good manufacturing practice), and an interest in chemistry, microbiology, or laboratory work
