ByggVesta Property Management is now launching a new Stockholm team consisting of six in-house property technicians with various specialized skills. This is an opportunity for you if you want to be involved from the very beginning and influence how the team works, establish structures, and contribute to shaping the culture, while also gaining access to modern tools and new vehicles.

The recruitment is a collaboration with Jefferson Wells, but you will be employed directly by ByggVesta. This is not a consultancy position.

Currently, we manage just under twenty properties with rental apartments and student housing in the Stockholm area. The portfolio comprises a total of approximately 2,650 apartments, with properties of varying sizes, ranging from under 50 to over 400 apartments. Operations are based out of our local offices in Kista and Nacka, with the headquarters on Kungsholmen. ByggVesta is an established and financially stable company with a long-term presence in several locations across Sweden.

About the Role

This is a role for you who wants to work close to reality, where your skills make a concrete difference every day. You are responsible for plumbing and HVAC-related issues in our residential properties and become a key person in the team regarding operations, troubleshooting, and improvements. The work spans from emergency measures to preventive actions and long-term improvements of systems and functions.

The role is characterized by freedom under responsibility, where you plan and drive your own work, with support from colleagues when needed. There is also an opportunity to act as a team leader and lead parts of the daily operations for other property technicians.

What You Will Do

You work broadly within plumbing and HVAC and have a clear responsibility for ensuring that systems function stably and efficiently over time.

• You troubleshoot and rectify problems related to water, heating, and sewage.
• You identify areas for improvement and contribute to preventing future operational disruptions.
• You support colleagues with technical questions and perform various service tasks as time permits.

You collaborate with external suppliers for larger interventions, follow up on measures, and ensure that the work meets the right quality standards. Documentation and reporting are a natural part of the work – simple, clear, and business-like. Here, your ability to communicate is just as important as your technical competence.

A Role Close to the Tenant

You meet tenants in their homes, often in situations where something is not working. Your ability to build trust, explain what needs to be done, and deliver a safe solution is an important part of the job. This makes the role both technical and service-oriented, where customer service and professional skill go hand in hand.

Who We Think You Are

We are looking for you who have a solid foundation in plumbing and HVAC and feel secure working independently. You have likely worked in service, property management, or installation and are accustomed to meeting both practical and technical challenges in everyday life. You enjoy taking responsibility, see what needs to be done, and act without waiting for instructions.

• At the same time, you have a strong sense of service; you know that professional customer service is just as important as a technically correct solution.
• You are solution-oriented, structured, and have a natural pride in your professional knowledge. When something doesn't work, you don't look for shortcuts; you fix it properly.
• Possibly simple leadership of daily operations.
• You are skilled at communicating in Swedish and English with our tenants.
