Service Technician – Technical Service / OB & Broadcast

NEP Sweden is Sweden's leading provider of services for the TV industry. We are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to work with the service, maintenance, and support of technical equipment within broadcast and live production, as well as our OB units and production environments.

This role is suitable for you if you have a strong interest in technology and experience with low-voltage systems, electronics, or technical systems. The focus is on ensuring that our technology operates stably, maintains high reliability, and is always ready for production.

You will work with troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and technical support of equipment within broadcast and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of technical equipment in OB units and production environments
• Troubleshooting and repair of technical systems
• Preparation, testing, and inspection of equipment prior to production
• Documentation and follow-up of service cases
• Participate in upgrades and further development of technical systems

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in technical service work, preferably within low-voltage systems, electronics, or similar technical environments
• Good technical understanding and a strong interest in technology and troubleshooting
• Experience working with technical equipment and signal handling
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Broadcast or AV technology
• Networking and IP-based systems
• Fiber, SDI, or other signal technologies
• Work in live or production environments
• Intercom, router, or video systems
