About the role

As a Plumbing and HVAC Technician with us, you are responsible for ensuring that the plumbing and HVAC systems at Södersjukhuset function as they should. You become an important part of creating a safe and functional care environment – work that truly makes a difference. Your main tasks include:

• Maintaining planned maintenance of plumbing and HVAC systems

• Stepping in during urgent faults and resolving them with a high level of service spirit

• Performing pipe installations and working with sub-centrals

• Suggesting improvements and reporting deviations

You work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues. Our team consists of 23 dedicated technicians who describe themselves as helpful, solution-oriented, and always ready to support each other.

Working in a hospital environment is special – we plan our jobs so that care is disturbed as little as possible. This makes the role both challenging and meaningful.

The position involves security clearance. A security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will therefore be conducted prior to the decision on employment.

About you

We are looking for someone who is independent and confident in their professional role, with a strong service spirit and the ability to think creatively when the situation demands it. You are a problem solver who cares about delivering quality in everything you do.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Technical plumbing and HVAC education or equivalent competence

• A few years of experience in plumbing and HVAC work

• Experience with pipe installations, sub-centrals, and service (meritorious)

• Good computer skills, as all reporting is done digitally

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
