Adecco is now looking for a Facilities Assistant for an exciting consultancy assignment with a client in Södertälje. This is an opportunity for you who want to work in a dynamic laboratory environment and contribute to operations that make a real difference.

About the assignment
  • Number of positions: 1
  • Scope: Full-time (100%), working hours 08:00–16:50 with flex-time options
  • Start date: By Sept 5th
  • Location: Södertälje

This is a consultancy assignment via Adecco, where you will work on-site at our client's premises.

All candidates who proceed in the process will undergo background checks as well as alcohol and drug testing.

Team Member for LabSupport – Facilities AssistantYour playing field

We are looking for a communicative, service-oriented, and driven team player who is passionate about working with practical/physical and administrative tasks. Together as a group, we ensure that laboratory operations can meet their deliverables. As a team member within LabSupport, you will be part of a team called Staff, Climate & Support within Quality Control (QC) Maintenance & Support, based in Södertälje. You will collaborate closely within the team, with our laboratories, and with our suppliers.

Your role

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Daily contact with customers and suppliers, primarily within the EU
  • Participate in improvement work, painting, and development of action plans
  • Problem-solving and lean work within your area of responsibility
  • Order management to suppliers and delivery monitoring in our business system
  • Receive and unpack deliveries, inventory stock, and administer this in our electronic systems
  • Large-scale preparation of release media for the QC lab. A comprehensive project is underway here to streamline work and improve the working environment
  • Gas changes, tubes & gas packages

As a person, you are communicative, service-oriented, solution-oriented, and have a natural ability to collaborate. You work efficiently and structured, and take initiative when circumstances change. You are a positive team player with a genuine interest in continuous improvement.

We require:
  • At least upper secondary education
  • Experience in order management, warehouse management, and supplier contacts
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Competence in the MS Office suite and experience with SAP is desirable
  • Advantageous with several years of professional experience from manufacturing companies, storage, or warehouses
  • Advantageous if you have experience with SHE (safety, health, and environment), LEAN, GMP (good manufacturing practice), and an interest in chemistry, microbiology, or laboratory work
