Are you an electrical power engineer with experience in selectivity, relay protection, and control? Here you will have a key role in the development of the power grid!
About the role of Selectivity Engineer
In this central role, you will contribute to a robust and secure power grid by providing technical support to operations, maintenance, and projects. You will work closely with both internal specialists and external partners regarding voltage levels of 0.4-400kV.
The role is broad, and your responsibilities will include:
You will become part of an engaged team of about ten people, with access to modern test labs in Stockholm and Karlstad to test, verify, and develop solutions for a more sustainable and secure power grid.
The position is primarily intended for Stockholm or Karlstad, but for the right candidate, placement in Kungsbacka or Bollnäs may be possible.
Qualifications and fit for the role
We are looking for you who have a technical education focused on electrical power, energy systems, or equivalent, or who have built up equivalent competence through relevant work experience. You have several years of experience working with protection and control, relay protection, selectivity, or control installations.
You must be able to work systematically with selectivity plans, relay protection settings, calculations, and technical documentation. We also appreciate if you are interested and curious about how digitalization and AI can be used to facilitate and improve your work. You also have very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are problem-solving and have an aptitude for understanding complex relationships, analyzing technical data, and drawing well-founded conclusions. You work meticulously, plan and structure your work well, and take responsibility for driving issues forward. To succeed in the role, you also need to have good collaboration skills, an open and humble approach, and be confident enough to take initiative and contribute to developing working methods, routines, and solutions together with others.
