In the role of consultant at Randstad Life Sciences, you will have the opportunity to step into key roles at some of the industry's most reputable players. You will work with everything from large-scale production to complex API synthesis or formulation of biomedical drugs. The role is dynamic and requires a person who enjoys problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration. You often act as the bridge between production, quality, and development, and are expected to take significant ownership of the process's efficiency and safety. As a consultant with us, you will also have an engaged consultant manager who supports you in your professional journey, as well as a network of colleagues where we mix knowledge sharing with social activities and team events.

Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer for our clients, your tasks will include, among other things:

• Production: Providing support to production regarding process technical issues and matters.
• Validation & Qualification: Ensuring that equipment and processes meet established requirements.
• Quality Work: Handling deviations, complaints, and risk assessments in accordance with GMP and internal SOPs.
• Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement work according to LEAN principles to optimize process and review flows.
• Expertise & Training: Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in various projects, updating SOPs, and training operators and colleagues when introducing new processes or equipment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments to find long-term solutions to production-related problems.

Qualifications

• Education: Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent relevant technical/scientific field.
• Experience: At least a couple of years of documented experience as a Process Engineer within the Life Science sector, including experience with validation.
• Regulations: Familiarity and practical experience working under GMP.
• Languages: Fluent proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Merits: Experience with LEAN.
• As a person, you are disciplined, meticulous, and risk-aware. You have a natural ability to collaborate with different professional groups and maintain a solution-oriented focus even in dynamic environments.
