As autumn approaches, we have several exciting assignments in various stages and need to strengthen our team with a participating architect with a particular interest in design. At our office, you will join a team with short decision-making paths, extensive experience, and a family-like atmosphere where everyone contributes.

About the role

As a participating architect, you will work with the project manager and lead architect to translate overarching design concepts into concrete solutions. You will prepare background materials, variations, and documentation in close dialogue with the team, contributing a keen eye for proportion, materials, and detail.

The work is a mix of early-stage design and detailed design. You will move between concept sketches, volume and facade studies, floor plans, material selections, and construction documentation, depending on where our projects are in the process. You will also be engaged in the office's business development and internal design discussions.

We are looking for someone with

A university-level architecture degree, MSA or equivalent. You have strong design skills and an interest in understanding the entire chain from concept to completed building. You work comfortably in Archicad, and it is a plus if you also master SketchUp or similar tools for volume and concept studies.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and express yourself well in English. Good understanding of building technology and the ability to receive both written and verbal instructions and drive delegated tasks independently are a given.

Advantageous qualifications

Experience with residential projects, preferably in several stages from early concept to construction documentation. Familiarity with 3D-based coordinated design. Interest in and knowledge of materials, colors, and detailing. Experience with sustainability issues in design work, such as daylight, climate-adapted materials, or reuse. Knowledge of Miljöbyggnad (Swedish environmental building certification).
