We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a large Swedish public-sector-owned international organization undergoing extensive data and analytics transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, large-scale datasets, and business-critical analytics solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data products and reporting capabilities.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
• Ingest, transform, and model data from multiple source systems.
• Develop semantic models and Power BI reports to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards are met.
• Document data engineering processes, solutions, and best practices.
• Support data literacy and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Solid experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Proven experience in data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Storage Explorer.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
