Do you have a passion for data-driven solutions and want to create real value for customers through modern technology? At our client, you will have the opportunity to work in a specialist company within Data Analytics and AI, where innovation, competence development, and collaboration are at the center.

About the role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, building, and further developing customers' data platforms and pipelines. You will work broadly across the entire delivery chain – from data integration and modeling to analysis and creating valuable insights.

You will work closely with both customers and colleagues in varied projects where modern cloud technology, data engineering, and analytics are in focus.

This role suits you if you want to combine technical problem-solving with business understanding and enjoy taking responsibility and driving solutions forward. A key success factor for our client is their own framework for AI-supported data platform development, which is used as a structured method throughout the delivery process.

Through this framework, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the market's leading technologies and platforms – including Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, GCP, Databricks, and Power BI – while developing alongside experienced engineers within data and AI.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop modern data platforms
  • Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Work with cloud solutions within Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or GCP
  • Develop scalable and efficient data flows
  • Collaborate closely with customers on technical and business-related matters
  • Contribute to the development of modern AI and data solutions

Requirements

  • Relevant academic education in fields such as systems science, computer science, or similar
  • At least three years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably as a consultant
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or GCP
  • Good knowledge of programming, such as Python or Java
  • Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Docker, Terraform, or similar infrastructure and container tools
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Git
  • Experience with Databricks, dbt, or other modern data transformation tools
  • Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
  • Interest in AI, automation, or personal technical side projects

We consider prior consulting experience to be highly advantageous.
