This role is part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

The "Product follow-up - cab" unit is responsible for leading and developing improvements regarding quality, warranty costs, and product costs, as well as handling design-related improvements in our current product offering. The unit's main tasks are to handle field quality and warranty cost issues, manage the localization of cab-developed parts in the China production facility, and oversee the development of small projects for new product solutions and to meet upcoming legal demands connected to the current platform. The focus is primarily on the Scania brand, with a vision to become fully global and support all brands in the group.

This position is based in Södertälje, and you will be part of a global management team with locations in Sweden, Germany, Brazil, and the US, as well as having a strong connection to China.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and coach the team to fulfill corporate targets and, together with the management team, define the strategy for the global way of working with product follow-up, including visualizing this for the team and creating structure in daily operations.

The unit currently consists of four designers and six assignment managers, three of whom are consultants. You are also responsible for balancing resources within your team and, in a non-prestigious manner, with the other managers in the section.

As a manager for product follow-up, you will:

• work in a flexible environment where you will build a broad network with many different areas globally.
• gain extensive knowledge about all components in the cab and explore your skills for strategic business acumen and leadership.
• train your presentation skills as you push for your strategies or present the current status at different levels.
• act as a stakeholder for aftermarket activities within TRATON and Cab development.
