We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with experience in Databricks and 6–9 years of experience to join our client's IT department, Asset Analytics Distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
• Ingest, transform, and model data from various sources to enable reliable analysis and reporting.
• Develop semantic models and create Power BI reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure data integrity and security.
• Document and communicate data engineering processes and results.
• Support information awareness and training initiatives within the organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Qualifications

Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python, and CI/CD.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.
• Practical experience and confidence working with large data volumes is an advantage (tables with billions of rows).
• Knowledge of data warehouses, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Storage Explorer.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Education
