We are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to join an international industrial company with advanced technical products and solutions for the process industry. This is a role for you who has a technical educational background and wants to combine technical understanding with project management in a global operation.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will become part of a project organization responsible for executing customer projects within the process and manufacturing industries. The projects include, among other things, design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of technical systems and equipment.

You will drive smaller customer projects with support from experienced colleagues while taking on an important coordinating role between technology, procurement, production, and the customer. The role provides a broad understanding of the entire project process and suits you if you want to develop towards a future role as a project manager for larger and more complex projects.

• Drive smaller customer projects from start to delivery
• Ensure that projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, and agreed scope
• Coordinate technical components and deliveries within ongoing projects
• Monitor project economics and resource planning
• Ensure that customer requirements are understood and implemented in the project execution
• Coordinate work between different internal functions such as design, procurement, and production
• Handle changes, risks, and deviations during the course of the projects
• Contribute to the development of methods, processes, and tools within the project organization

• Hold a university degree or Master of Science in Engineering in, for example, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial economics, or another relevant field
• Alternatively, have equivalent work experience in technology or industry
• Have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Have a structured and methodical work approach
• Have an interest in combining technology with project management and coordination

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in project management or project coordination
• Experience from manufacturing industry or process industry
• Knowledge in project control, financial monitoring, or resource planning
• Experience of customer contact in technical project environments

This is a consultancy assignment where you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the customer's and Friday's side is that the assignment will transition into a long-term employment with the customer.
