ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is in an exciting phase of development with several major IT initiatives running in parallel. This includes the development of a new data platform, modernization of business-critical systems, and further development of the company's e-commerce solutions. To strengthen the team, we are now looking for a Data & Systems Specialist who wants to help develop and manage the company's product and vehicle data.

You will become part of a team responsible for master data, product information, e-commerce, and analytics. Here, you will work closely with the business to ensure that data is handled, structured, and flows between different systems efficiently. The role combines technical work with business understanding and suits you if you enjoy analyzing problems, improving processes, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

The organization is flat with short decision-making paths and a strong focus on digital development. For the right person, there are great opportunities to influence both the role and future initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with product and vehicle data in the company's various business-critical systems.
• Manage and further develop solutions related to PIM systems and master data.
• Work with integrations between different systems and platforms.
• Specify, analyze, and document data flows.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts and database connections.
• Work with API integrations and automation of data management.
• Collaborate with the business regarding the structuring of product information and categorization within e-commerce.
• Participate in the development of the company's modern data platform and analytics solutions.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a post-secondary education in areas such as system development, computer science, industrial economics, information technology, or a similar field.
• Have experience with SQL and database management.
• Have an understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Have an interest in both technology and business development.
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the organization.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with PIM systems or master data management.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with e-commerce or product information management.
• Experience with Snowflake or modern data platforms.
• A Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical education.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a well-established and market-leading company in the automotive industry undergoing extensive digital transformation. The company is privately owned, profitable, and continues to gain market share through long-term investments in digitalization, data, and modern IT solutions.

The IT organization consists of approximately 40 employees distributed across several specialist teams within development, integration, business systems, infrastructure, data, and analytics. Here, you are offered the opportunity to work in a business where IT plays a central role in the company's future development.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that initially, you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the Client and our side is that you will become a direct employee of the client after 12 months.

During the employment, you are offered continuous competence development through Friday's training initiatives, where you get the opportunity to strengthen both your technical and professional skills in parallel with your work at the client.
