ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is looking for you who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client living in Mora. You will work as a temporary substitute on an as-needed basis, for example, when regular staff is absent. If the collaboration works well, there is an opportunity for a fixed-term substitute position with a regular schedule. The shifts are scheduled as 24-hour shifts, and you are expected to be able to work both weekdays and weekends.

Working hours:

• 09:00–09:00 (24-hour shift), with waiting time during the night.

Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is an active young woman in her 30s with autism and an intellectual disability. On weekdays, she attends day activities, where you as an assistant will accompany her. In her free time, she likes to stay active and enjoys various activities – both outdoors and indoors. Excursions, swimming, painting, singing, and crafts are some of the things that usually appear on the schedule.

She needs support in all parts of daily life. A calm and secure existence with fixed routines is important, but she also appreciates stimulating and partially developmental activities.

The tasks include among other things:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores.
• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is calm, alert, and patient, with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in working with people. You thrive on variety – both with days that offer activity, such as walks, exercise, and swimming, and with calmer, more sedentary days. It is important that you are flexible and appreciate varying workdays. Furthermore, our client prefers female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Manual driver's license – as you will drive the client's car.
• Ability to handle scratches and be a competent swimmer.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Employment level: Temporary substitute with work on an as-needed basis.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.
