Vivida is now looking for an engaged personal assistant for a happy, playful, and lovely 12-year-old boy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in his daily life.

About the assignment

I am a 12-year-old boy with lots of energy and humor, looking for a personal assistant who wants to work closely with me in my daily life.

I have a lung disease and autism, and I need support and assistance in various parts of life.

Your work will include, among other things:

• Supporting me in daily life, both at home, at school, and during activities.
• Helping with oxygen therapy and partial tube feeding.
• Being a continuous support throughout the day, as I cannot be left alone.

I do not have fully developed speech, so experience with TAKK (AAC) or AKK (PECS) is advantageous.

You will accompany me to school during the day and work in the home after school hours.

I live alternately with my mom and dad, one week at a time, and you will also accompany me to my leisure activities.

There is a dog in the family, which means you must not be allergic or afraid of dogs.

Do you recognize yourself?

I am looking for you who have experience in personal assistance, working with children, and/or special education.

It is important that you can set clear but safe boundaries and help me maintain routines. At the same time, I hope you are playful and enjoy having fun together.

We would like you to:

• Have a calm, secure, and responsive approach.
• Be creative, patient, and flexible.
• Have good communication skills and be able to collaborate with both the family and the school.
• Have experience with sign language as support (advantageous).
• Have experience with low-affective approach (advantageous).
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Have a B driving license.

HOURS AND PERCENTAGE OF EMPLOYMENT

Extra as needed with a chance for a permanent position at 70%.

WHEN CAN YOU START WORKING WITH ME?

I need a new assistant by week 34 at the latest, but an earlier start is possible.

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base hourly salary + holiday pay and possible shift allowance. Collective agreements apply.
