At Shamsen Omsorg AB, we are currently looking for dedicated and attentive personal assistants for a woman in her 40s living in Leksand. She uses a wheelchair and has extensive care needs, including a tracheostomy (trach) and gastrostomy (PEG). The role involves being a support in her daily life and contributing to her ability to live as independently and actively as possible.

The client is a positive and active person who loves animals, enjoys nature, and appreciates both indoor and outdoor activities – everything from walks to spontaneous outings.

About the job

As a personal assistant, you will help with:

• Personal care and transfers
• Daily household chores such as cooking and cleaning
• Medical care tasks related to trach and PEG
• Participating in and facilitating activities outside the home

The work takes place in the client's home and in her local environment. It is a varied and important job where you make a difference every day.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are confident, attentive, and highly committed to helping others. You need to be proactive, calm, and able to adapt to different situations. You thrive in an active work environment and have no problem taking responsibility.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license
• At least 18 years of age

Merits:

• Experience from healthcare or similar roles
• Experience working with trach and PEG
• Healthcare or social care education
