We at the Counseling Clinic are now looking for an engaged counselor or psychotherapist who wants to grow with us. The Counseling Clinic is a unit within Primary Care in Ludvika. We offer group therapy, CBT, and individual treatment.

We value quality, continuity, good interaction, and accessibility. Primary care faces new challenges and assignments in the transition to "Good Close Care," where primary care should be the foundation of healthcare. The role may also include duties at our other health center in Sunnansjö.

We are now looking for you who are an engaged and driven counselor/psychotherapist, preferably with an interest in working with group therapy, CBT, and individual CBT. We offer you a workplace with broad professional diversity and high competence, where several clinics are gathered. We strive to work closely with the residents in the area in the best possible way and with high quality, and we welcome your involvement in developing our operations. As a counselor/psychotherapist here, you will work with assessments and treatments. You will treat patients with various mental and psychosocial issues. The work is carried out independently, but you will collaborate closely with addiction therapists working with harmful use and abuse, coordination nurses, and other professional categories at the health center.

We are looking for someone who is positive and has a genuine interest in working with people. As a person, you are solution-focused and see changes as a challenge.

You should be a social worker or have another education considered equivalent. Basic psychotherapy training equivalent to CBT is meritorious. Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

We would appreciate experience with group therapy.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked as a counselor in primary care.

The work requires a good ability to work independently and make your own decisions. A good attitude towards our patients is a prerequisite.

If you are flexible, have good collaboration and communication skills, and keep the patient in focus, you will thrive with us.
