About the role
As a substitute childcare worker, you will work on a mobile basis in various facilities around Borlänge, Hedemora, or Ludvika. You will replace permanent staff primarily during urgent needs and be booked with short notice. The duration of assignments varies from single days to longer periods. You choose which days of the week you wish to work, and we match you with assignments that suit your availability and qualifications.

Your responsibilities

As a substitute in a preschool, the work is varied and involves standard duties for childcare workers, such as:

• Conducting activities with children according to a plan.
• Participating in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of education and activities together with preschool teachers.
• Participating in daily care work, such as meal times, rest, dressing/undressing, and outdoor play.
• Supporting children's social and emotional development through a conscious and attentive approach.
• Creating secure relationships and an inclusive environment.
• Documenting children's learning according to the facility's routines.
• Collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and external parties as needed.
• Contributing to a structured working method and a good work environment.
• Assisting during meal times.

Your qualifications

• Completed childcare education.
• Complete upper secondary education or equivalent.
• Experience working in a preschool setting.
• Available for work at least 2 weekdays per week.
• Available to be booked for assignments on the same morning.
