We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to.

Do you want to brighten everyday life and improve the quality of life for the people of Linköping? With us, you can make a significant difference and contribute to making Linköping a better place. Welcome to us!

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for an adult pedagogue specialized in VINR (Violence in Intimate Relationships) for the Adult Reception, Authority.

The position is part of a project primarily aimed at improving conditions for adults and children living in our emergency apartments. Approximately half of the individuals placed have accompanying children. In addition to your duties as an adult pedagogue, you will be part of a project group that monitors and evaluates the project, with opportunities to influence its development. In the project, you will have a colleague working as a social worker specializing in treatment within VINR. At the reception, you will work closely with social workers responsible for VINR, assessment, decisions, and follow-up.

As an adult pedagogue, you are present when adults and any accompanying children are placed, which often happens with short notice, and act as support in the acute situation. At the beginning of the placement, you should be available for intensive support, both practical and emotional. You assist with practical tasks such as establishing contact with healthcare and other authorities, ensuring digital security, applying for confidentiality markings, and gaining an overview of finances. You provide ongoing crisis support to individuals to prevent return to the abuser and increase understanding of the violence process they have experienced. You then follow up with the individuals throughout their stay and provide support based on the individual's needs. You also support the individual in managing their apartment, adhering to the contract, and leaving it in good condition upon move-out.

The position involves collaboration both externally and internally. Since there are often accompanying children in the apartments, you need to have a good child perspective and collaborate particularly with social workers in the Children and Youth department.

Your workplace

Adult Reception belongs to the "Close Social Services" department, which is intended to be the first point of entry to the Social Services Department. The task implies that interventions should be easily accessible and that the department should have a geographical focus and be organized in priority areas. The department is responsible for the Social Services Department's receptions, including authority exercises and family law. The department also provides various outpatient activities for both children and adults.

Adult Reception is a small work group consisting of a total of 11 people and comprises a multiprofessional operation. We are responsible for authority exercises, reports, and applications for the target group over 21 years old. The work group consists of four social workers specializing in violence in intimate relationships, four social workers specializing in harmful use and addiction, one LSS case worker, one benefit assessor specializing in social psychiatry, and one senior social worker.

The workplace is located at Drottninggatan 45, Social Services Department. Working hours are Monday-Friday 07:50-17:00 with a flexible time agreement. We also offer a wellness allowance and the possibility of salary exchange.

You who apply

We are looking for you who have a behavioral science degree at a post-secondary level, such as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have previous experience in social work with vulnerable individuals as well as specific knowledge and experience of VINR.

A B-driving license is required as we use a car in the position. We expect you to have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the position involves both internal and external contacts with associated documentation. It is an advantage if you have previous knowledge and experience of working in the Treserva operation system.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you as a person adapt easily to changed circumstances, you can quickly change your perspective and approach. You are calm, stable, and have the ability to handle pressured situations well. Furthermore, you are good at prioritizing, planning, and you take responsibility for your tasks. You also work well with other people and relate to others in a listening and smooth manner, and have a good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve emerging conflicts in a constructive way. As a person, you are secure and can see relationships in their proper perspective and can distinguish between the personal and the professional.

The position is a permanent employment, but the tasks may change as the project runs until 2031-12-31.
