About the Role

The boy has a mild intellectual disability and moderate ADHD. He has a great need for structure, predictability, and encouraging support in his daily life. This position is perfect for you if you want to work part-time, as the scope is approximately 15 hours per month.

Profile and Interests

Sports and movement are a central part of his life, so we are looking for a companion who shares this enthusiasm. His absolute biggest interests are:

• Football: He loves both playing and watching football. He now plays for a team and trains about four times a week, in addition to matches on weekends. Part of the role involves supporting him in connection with his football activities.
• Swimming: He enjoys visiting the swimming pool and bathing/swimming, which is another activity you are welcome to accompany him to.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a secure and stable adult role model. Since he has ADHD, you need to have a good understanding of how to create structure, maintain calm in energetic environments, and motivate in a positive way.

Your Qualifications:

• Language Skills: It is a strong preference that you speak Arabic, as this facilitates communication and helps him feel extra secure.
• Personality: You are active, patient, and have a pedagogical approach.
• Interests: It is highly meritorious if you are interested in sports yourself (especially football or swimming).

Working Hours: 15 hours per month, distributed across afternoons, evenings, or weekends based on need and agreement.

Employment Level: 9% of full-time.

Things to Consider Before Applying

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the role may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you wish to work with children and young people under 18, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. It is important to order the extracts well in advance, as the Police's processing time may vary. In light of a legislative change from March 1, 2026, the register check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
