About the Social Services Administration

The Social Services Administration is responsible for measures, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act, and are to implement measures regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by an individual-centered approach to meet the individual's needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and a service-oriented mindset.

3 Positions – Social Secretary in Elderly Care (SoL)

Job Responsibilities
As a Social Secretary in Elderly Care (SoL), you assess the need for assistance according to the Social Services Act and work from a holistic perspective with the individual's needs at the center (IBIC), as well as follow-up of these. The duties include telephone hours, as well as internal and external collaboration, including collaboration with specialized care. The team you work in consists of 13 social secretaries handling cases according to the Social Services Act, two transport coordinators, one placement coordinator, two fee administrators, an elderly care counselor, two senior social secretaries, and a manager. You will work in a team with support from colleagues, senior social secretaries, and the manager.

The positions include two permanent appointments and one one-year fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

Formal Competencies:

• You have a degree as a social worker, occupational therapist, social care worker, or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
• You can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.
• A B-driver's license is required.
• Experience in public administration is an advantage.

Personal Competencies:

• You find it appealing to work with the target group of the elderly and people with functional impairments and are comfortable making quick assessments. Since the position involves broad collaboration, it is important that you have good communication skills and are flexible based on the public authority role.
• You are stable and confident in yourself, handle stress in a constructive way, and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate fact from person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
• You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You find quick solutions to emerging problems.
• You easily adapt, develop, and learn new things after changed requirements, conditions, or circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your mindset and approach.

Employment Terms

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment Type: Permanent (two positions) and one one-year fixed-term contract.
• Duration/Start Date: According to agreement.
• Working Hours: Office hours.
